Recently, our 18-year-old daughter started hunting for her first real job. She spent an afternoon filling out applications, leaving them on the kitchen table to finish later. As I walked by, a section of the application on top jumped out at me. Under “Previous Employment” she wrote, “Baby sitting.”
In answer to “Reason for Leaving” she wrote, “Parents came home.”
One Liner
Easter is when everybody dresses up for Jesus’ big coming out party.
Thought for the day
If you want to stop the conflicts in your life, if you want to get along with other people, then you have to learn to ask forgiveness from God and from those you hurt. James 4:8 says, “Wash your hands … and purify your hearts” (NIV). Our hands represent our conduct, and our hearts represent our attitude.
Maybe your daughter should start a comedy blog, too. At least it will add to her work experience. 😉
